High-Performance Duplex Stainless Steel Pipes: The Ideal Choice for Highly Corrosive and High-Pressure Applications
10/04/2026

Duplex stainless steel pipes (primarily grades 2205 and 2507), with their austenitic-ferritic duplex microstructure, combine high strength with excellent corrosion resistance, making them the top choice for high-end industrial piping.

With a yield strength approximately twice that of 316L stainless steel, these pipes demonstrate outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in highly corrosive environments such as seawater, chlorine-containing solutions, and acidic or alkaline media. They are suitable for temperatures ranging from -50°C to 300°C and offer stable welding and machining properties.

The product range covers all specifications, including seamless pipes, welded pipes, and thick-walled pipes, and complies with ASTM and ASME standards. It is widely used in marine engineering, petrochemicals, desalination, nuclear power, water treatment, and other fields, with a service life far exceeding that of ordinary stainless steel and excellent overall cost-effectiveness.
